Kimono
TheĀ Kimono Tie
It has become a regular thing for my rope family and myself to gather around mine for an evening of ties every Thursday now.
Last week, I started off with a Kimono tie. It is an incredibly simple tie to do, but surprisingly enough, one I had never tied before! Needless to say, a friend of mine decided to set me the challenge to do the tie in under two minutes, here is the result:

It is an incredibly simple tie and one that can secure a person quite quickly and (in my opinion) looks quite pretty.
Afterwards decided to do the tie below. It starts off as a double column tie on the wrists, then a ladder upwards. I then put a wrap behind the neck (careful not to put any pressure on the side of the neck and avoiding the front all together), cinched the rope to the ladder and finished off with a vine.

After that I added an extra length of rope to the left over bit of the double column tie on the earlier ropework. From here I did several wraps around her legs (cinching each wrap together) and finished off with two wraps around her foot and one on her big toe.

Thats it for tonight, my new business cards have arrived (pictures in next post), my latest batch of hemp has arrived (I will be treating this on Friday/Saturday).
For those of you heading to the opening night at Club Dark in Brighton, you may have noticed in the confirmation email you received with your ticket, I will be selling rope at the event. I will have Hempex, Cotton and (presuming I have it treated in time) Hemp for sale. If you have any other requests (such as suspension rings), please contact me in advance as I will not be bringing them otherwise.
